This was a renovation of a 30 year old landscape.
All of the high maintenance slopes were replaced with low maintenance plants and rock features.
The water feature that was previously never fully perfected was revamped and completed.

The front landscape now consists of several low maintenance plants to achieve depth, an overhaul of the irrigation system, as well as a rock walkway from the driveway up to the front door.
Many of the plants from the front yard were transplanted to the backyard to be used as a privacy buffer.

Challenges

A drainage ditch went through the client's property and took up almost one third of the back yard, making it unusable. A proper drainage ditch was installed in order to reclaim a large portion of their property but also allow the water to drain properly off of their property.

The front posed a difficult challenge because the slope between the house and the road was steep. In order to improve curb appeal, we wanted to create more depth in the landscape. We carefully chose several low maintenance plants in this situation that achieved the desired effect.
